We got great news on my dad today! He had a CT scan on Monday to check to see if his colorectal cancer has grown back at all during his treatments for mesothelioma. We saw the doctor today for a check up and to get the results. There is no evidence of any tumors in his lungs, liver, or colon! Also, although theres really no way to check on the status of his mesothelioma without opening him up, his cancer markers remain down (1.3) in the normal range so thats a great sign. Praise God! As we look ahead to the one year anniversary of Dads diagnosis (December 23), we have so much to be thankful for. He wasnt given much chance with stage 4 colorectal cancer and even less chance once they determined he had stage 4 mesothelioma too. However, our God is a God of miracles! We dont know what the future holds but we thank Him for each and every day Hes given us! Thank you all for your ongoing prayers and support.
