We got hit with a 2 hour brownout today. It is because planned maintenance happened with some major power plants in the Luzon Grid. My insider information in the top level Energy circles are saying we will be for a rough ride next year as there are serious power deficiencies with the National grid. Philippines is not simply building enough power plants to address our rapid economic growth the past few years. Doing what we can, and what we can control- we are going to deploy our hybrid Grid tie with battery backup systems very soon. It is a mix of having a standby generator, a UPS and a grid tie system. Think of it as a little diesel generator that uses free fuel, switches on in 10ms and potent enough to power your fridge, all your lights and if enough bucks are spent possibly your air conditioner- indefinitely. Also coming out with more affordable units that can also top of batteries during times of normal power and can be counted to run key appliances-Fridge, Lights fan etc for a number of hours using battery power, of course can be charged with our Solar panels. We are Preparing our Tacloban Tech for this coming typhoon and rainy season. If you want to get to prepared for blackouts, calamities, typhoons or just to save money on electricity. email us at [email protected] 1) Need to know what you absolutely need to run in times of prolonged outages. 2) Budget and immediate Needs. IE Lights lang...6K Fan and Lights, laptop 20K...+Ref (60K) Aircon running on batteries will cost you more than 100K.) We will only be importing and building a select number of units of Off grid as we focus more on commercial and residential grid tie. first few select customers will have a discounted rate since they will be testing and reviewing our gear.
