We got home after 4am, but Uncle Tom messaged us now to say that dad had a good night, blood pressure remained good and they moved him to a sitting position. Not sitting like we sit up, but bed was raised up higher so his head is up instead of laying all of the time - he is still fully sedated and unresponsive because of medication keeping him asleep due to still being on high tech ventilator. But until now, he has been laying due to spinal cord danger- now that it is repaired, they are able to move his bed. His oxygen is down to 40% of ventilator use and moving it to 35% soon! His hip surgery is scheduled for THIS Thursday (it will be the 1st of 3 to 4 surgeries on his legs). Another important surgery! He is a miracle in progress! Pray for peace for Tami as her brother and her daughter head back home today.
