We got irrefutable proof today that God did indeed lead us to M & A & JT. We had our second post placement visit & our social worker asked about the cost of our adoption. I told her what our expenses were & that we trust our attorney completely & are planning on adopting through her again. I then told her about the shady agency we almost matched through around this time last year while Mason & I were visiting Shane Neubauer at spectrum school in MS. The woman who ran the agency tried to match us with a young girl whos situation was almost too good to be true. She then told us another couple was also interested & the expenses kept increasing. We chose to walk away b/c our instincts were telling us something wasnt right. Thank God we did!! Our social worker told us it sounded like an agency that will be featured on 20/20 next month who has been matching birth mothers with multiple adoptive couples & scamming them. It turns out its the same woman & agency that tried to scam us!!
