We got slammed on a review on TripAdvisor yesterday. Rated service wonderful (thank you to my Mongers!), but prices, selection and layout not happy with. Im not sure what is wrong with the layout, it is an odd complaint and the first in a year and a half of business. Layout will be changing with some renovations (see below). Prices - are what they are for handcrafted direct farm sourced artisanal products shipped to the end of a long supply chain in Southern Delaware. We do what we can - we do not take a full retail markup on most of our products & sometimes eat the cost of shipping ourselves. Inventory - we have around 40 varieties of cheeses in stock currently (down from our usual 120 in continuous stock) - a good selection across all cheese categories. We are running the non perishable and perishable inventory very light since we are about to undergo major renovations & were aiming to make renovations while keeping the store open on our winter schedule (four days a week). Without giving too much away we are pursuing a liquor license to add craft beer & interior tables to expand our artisanal food and beverage selection at our grilled cheese sammich bar & allow us to add the craft beer & cheese flights that youve been begging us for since we opened. This will not affect the volume of cheese we carry once we get back up to full inventory in time for the summer season. Please continue to support us in the meantime. I need to keep my Mongers on payroll! When we come up in front of the City for a vote on our liquor license, please support us. I will let you know. Thanks.
