We got some good news at the Cardiologist for Charles test .. He is still in Afib and according to the doctor from the monitor he wore for the 2 weeks he is in Afib 80% of the time, but on the positive side he is in the middle of the scale. he said they pace makers are put in if the Afib is high or low, but his is middle so they will watch and are using a new med. for this Eliquis is being tried for 2 weeks, they will do blood check then and see if this works will go forward on this treatment.. changed his fluid tablets that has been used for the Congestive heart failure.. as the 80mg twice a day of Lasix seem to not do the job as before.. so we did this and gave him a colosterol med too.. all in all glad no pacemaker is on the agenda for now... the doctor said looks like the last stent 10 months ago is doing a good job.. thankful for that...
