We got the news this afternoon that Mom has severe cancer in her spine, specifically in her thoracic and lumbar area. It is very advanced. It has also destroyed her left shoulder and her arm. They biopsied her liver late this afternoon because the MRI showed possible spots there as well. She is completely exhausted and still in excruciating pain. The results of the remainder of the tests today will decide how we proceed. Your continued prayers are coveted, specifically for peace and understanding for John and for grace, peace and strength for the rest of us as well. Sometimes, there just arent enough tears...
