We got to meet the Peterson family Wednesday evening! It was a pleasure meeting your family. It was also the 1st time Emma & Parker met. I must say, it was absolutely amazing seeing how Emma IMMEDIATELY took a liking to Parker. It was almost as if she knew him and was around him on a regular basis. Of course Parker got to play on some fire trucks. He even got to see the antique fire truck at Station 1. Medics even got a call while we were there and Parker got to see like 4 fireman slide down the fireman pole; Im pretty sure that alone made his whole night. Then a rescue truck and ambulance took off, lights and sirens with us standing right there. It was pretty cool to watch Parker just stand there mesmerized. =) Then it was upstairs to check out the game room. Parker and Noah were shootin hoops on the pop-a-shot like they were college teammates (KU of course!) =D Then it was back outside for a little football action with Parker and Noah. All in all, it was an absolutely wonderful evening! Thank you to Pat and all the guys at Station 1 for making this a great night for both Parker and Noah! Im so thrilled we could bring these 2 families together!
