We got to the top of this sand dune and slid down the other side and ended up right in the middle of a Bedouin camp they were a rough looking lot and we were petrified but I remembered reading somewhere that they welcomed visitors and were very hospitable this was true the head man welcomed us into his tent and offered us cardamom spiced coffee now both Pom and I knew that the coffee drinking was very ceremonious but Mutley nearly got us thrown out as he started eating the sweetmeats, that boy will have to go
