We had Islamic State (ISIS) leader - Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi - in an Iraqi prison in 2009. President Obama released him. On his way out of the prison al-Baghdadi said, I will see you in New York. 11 commercial aircraft have been taken in Libya, as the Tripoli airport falls to Islamists. Perhaps you are unaware but Libya is unstable and Islamists are winning. 58,000 students who arrived in the US on student visas have over stayed the term of their visas. Of those, 6,000 foreign nationals with the of heightened concern designation, have gone missing and are no longer tracked by ICE. Compare that to the 11 actors during the events that occurred on 9/11/01. We have an open border that foreign nationals are flowing through. Of them, only a small percentage are the children you see all over the news. The rest include cartel, gang members, and individuals linked to terror groups. Are we safer than we were after 9/11? I would argue no - not only are we in more danger, but our military is weaker than it was at that time. The Obama foreign policy, immigration policy, defense policy and homeland security policy are failures and will be a danger to Americans for years to come.
