We had a bit of excitement here last night . I was up watching TV around 12;30 and thought I smelt smoke . I looked around for a good couple of minutes then realized it was coming from outside. After opening the door to a fog of smoke I could hear all the police and fire trucks coming down the street . I called Evelyn to look out the 3 floor windows to see were it was ( she never sleeps ) , nobody believes me LOL I was worried it was on the camp I woke Jim who rolled over and said if you can find a fire keep me informed , by this time the smell was very strong and you could see the red sky just on the other side of the bridge over the cove (across a wee river right beside the camp ) Jim slept on . Evelyn and I watched out the window as they tried to get it under control she was all for going outside but it was freezing out a lot of people came out of their trailers to the street , and Jim slept on . When I finally went to bed he woke long enough to ask if it was under control and then rolled over and went to sleep. I had a very restless night and didn’t sleep much ,he said he slept great . There is such a thing as being too calm ,I ask my son this morning if they heard a the noise at least ( they are father down the camp) ,no they slept through it too. This is why I worry about my family I don’t know what it would take to wake them or get them out of their beds LOL Thankfully the fire was in a building at a car lot ,nobody was hurt but the police are still there investigating . Sunny day all the girls away shopping so I have Edward ( 1 year ) Annie (2 Years) and Scarlett (2 years ) doesn’t look like much will get done in here today I will just keep them happy . When they are gone it doesn’t take long to tidy and its so much fun to see them SMILE. Go out and have a great day Smile at someone xxx
