We had a bush pilot land at the site I was at in Alaska. He wasnt allowed to land on our runway so he landed a flat piece of rocks and dirt a good 5 miles from the runway close to top camp. About 2500 feet elevation . The first time he landed well attempted to land he looked just like this plane did going over the side of the mountain. We all thought he crashed but as bush pilots do they survive. On the third I attempt he made it. Spent the afternoon with us and left story of 317 X RAY and Im sticking to it.
