We had a cow who gave birth to twins for the first time 2 weeks ago. She was either unable or unwilling to take care of them. We ended up having to bring them home and build a pen in the yard. They had some health issues and took a lot of care including bottle feeding. The little girl calf lived about a week. Her brother is still going great guns. He can drain a 2 quart bottle in 5 minutes. Dan calls him Vector Macho Camacho because he is a fighter. He survived being kicked in the head by his mother when he was a day old and other health issues. He is growing bigger every day. He likes to be scratched on his chest, but it sometimes causes him to fall asleep. What a cutie pie.
