We had a great crowd to welcome the owls yesterday! Thank you so much to Beth and John Thomson from Thomson Raptors! Whooooo did we meet? We met Capone the Barred Owl, Zeus the Great Horned Owl, Goliath the Eastern Screech Owl, and Ouija the Barn Owl. Our Discovery Club members did a great job dissecting owl pellets and finding rodent bones... even some teeth too! We also got use some of the new STEM microscopes to get a closer look at our treasures. Next Discovery Club meeting is Tuesday, Dec 16th at 4pm, when we will be exploring Wilderness Survival! Discovery Club is open to students in 6th - 8th grade.
