We had a great time at the BBQ tonight and a great turn out as well. I counted about 20 from the neighborhood that came to fellowship and the saints did a great job making them feel welcome from what I saw. There were a couple of deaf men that showed up and my immediate thought was how are we going to reach out to them. Well Kelli Pedersen, Marci White, and Jennifer Hughes took care of that. I looked over where the men were sitting and Marcis hands were going a mile a minute in sign language. Kelli and Jennifer were taking turns as well. It felt great seeing the Lord provide an avenue to speak with them and have such willing servants. Elyse McLeod and Adele Hall also went around to the tables talking about bible school and getting addresses from the locals to send out registration forms. The lady who lives across the street stayed the longest as her grand daughters were playing with the smaller kids in the branch and I caught her carrying on a conversation with Dyanna Graham Beem. It was a really good evening. Thank you all who came out and helped. I also wanted to add that we had several families from Devon Park fellowship with us as well. It was great to see a few more Pedersens, as well as the Humphreys and Howens.
