We had a great time this morning at the grand re-opening, ribbon cutting ceremony and Family Fun Day at the Jackson District Librarys Meijer Branch. Lesia Pikaart Executive Director, disAbility Connections presented the first ever, “Striving Toward Access for All window cling sticker. The newly renovated facility is packed full of accessibility features that help the whole community enjoy this modern and beautifully designed community treasure. In attendance were many dignitaries including City of Jackson, Mayor Jason C. Smith, trustees, donors and patrons. Special thanks to Jackson District Library Director, Ishwar Laxminarayan, his family and staff for being such gracious host and great friends to all of our community.
