We had a huge scare tonight. After visiting Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse..we decided to explore a trail. The kids left the trail and headed up a huge hill. I thought they would come back quicker then what they did...and when the boys came back, Claire wasnt with them. Isaac said Claire was taking a short cut down the hill to where I was but instead she got lost. With a loud panic voice, Isaac darted up the hill...screaming her name in a way that gave me chills. His screams echoed off the mountains. Will stayed with me and tried to calm me down as I had tears streaming down my face. ABout 45 minutes later, Isaac found Claire. I think we all learned how to appreciate one another a little bit more after that scare. And I found out that all the while I was praying to Saint Anthony....so was Claire.
