We had a huge turnout for the annual Veterans Day dinner in the Veterans Memorial Hall Monday night. 47 people attended. The crowd was treated to a display by Legion members Casey Kuhn, Keith McIlvain, Cody Kuhn (SAL) and Hal Rice of proper proceedure for folding our flag and the significance and history of each fold. Ben Cartwright (SAL) then offered the grace before our wonderful repast. After dinner Francine Anderson (ALA poppy chairman) gave Brynn Leistiko her trophy earned at department level. Tammey Ludeman (ALA Girls State chairman) gave out her certificates of participation to Morgan Leistiko and Olivia Corbin.
