We had a new young family with three little girls visit our church this morning. Following services I asked them, What brought you here today? They said about a month ago someone someone from our church had randomly brought them a sack of groceries when they really needed it. Every year around Thanksgiving our church delivers groceries throughout our community to families that might be in need. They were appreciative and a month later decided to pay a visit to the church. Later this afternoon they came back to the building again to study and talk a little more with me some things they heard in the sermon. Before they left, Matthew decided to give his life to Jesus and was baptized. All of this began from a kind person sharing a bag of groceries and a little conversation about Jesus. Just a reminder that little things done in love can make a huge impact. :)
