We had a nice retreat in South Lake Tahoe. The weather was perfect. The people were perfect and...and...and...I did the ICE Bucket Challenge . Linda videoed it but we dont know how to get it from my IPad to Facebook, or anywhere actually. Any helpful hints ? BTW we stayed in the house with our friend Holly who also happens to own Hollys Place Dog Friendly Cabin Resort. Its just a few blocks away from Magnificent Lake Tahoe . Im not able to walk / play on the beach or in the water, but the view and atmosphere are still ...well, it leaves me, Chatty Cathy, speechless ! Its true ! Ennyhoo, The Ice Bucket video is...I bet you can guess...yes, its funny ! I fell down only once on purpose, but then I couldnt get up off the ground. Linda, who is super strong, tried and tired to help me stand up, but when I finally did get up, I kerplunked onto the hard grass over and over. A guest at Hollys Place saw what happened and came over to help us. After the third time I said Oh, thanks, no, I think I can do this... she came over and helped linda pull me up and over to my walker. Today my body feels like....uh, hm..er...it feels like I fell onto the ground a whole bunch of times ! Wuff yowch oofff ! But its all worth it to be funny and raise awareness and FUNds for ALS. I just need to learn how to post or email the video. Thanx in advance !
