We had a scare this afternoon! I have my tragus pierced and Will was putting the ball on. He dropped it and it went down in my ear. We went to ER and they tried flushing it out but had no luck. Next they tied suctioning it and that hurt bad, still they had no luck. Just when they were about to make the third attempt at getting it out, which they said would be very painful and extensive, they had a stroke patient to come in so that detained them from doing the 3rd procedure. I was very nervous, dizzy, nauseated, and also in a lot of discomfort at this point so I stated praying. Within minutes the ball that had embedded into my ear canal and had adheased fell out onto the gurney that I was laying on. I am still in a lot of pain and I am having problems hearing with my right ear as well as problems with my balance but the ball is out! The doctors are scared of infection now because of all the trauma my ear withstood tonight so I am praying for a quick recovery and for my hearing and balance to get back to normal. I never realized something so small could do much damage. Everyone please keep me in your prayers about this situation as well as several unspoken request the Lord knows all about.
