We had a wonderful time Sat. pm & Sun. am at the Lakewood, Praise Chapel. Pastor Mike Moreno made a comment to me that he thought it was may be our best ever. On Saturday evening we told parts of our story with the focus on how the restoration of our broken marriage started. How did it start? This happened when my pain brought me to the point where I surrendered myself and our broken marriage to God and ask Him; “Father can you change me? Can you make me the man that I need me to be? Then, will you make me that man”? I gave Linda to God, and ask God to change me. It was amazing how quickly our lives started changing when I became humble enough to surrender our relationship to God. On Sunday morning we talked about how we learned to take the stress out of, and bring harmony too our marriage. This happened by our learning to take our conflicts and differences of opinion on how things should be done to God and allow Him to give direction. When we allow God to give direction there is no disagreement on what to do. And we have piece. But, this only works when we are ready to surrender our need to control and allow God to lead. We had a blessed time. Next Sunday (23rd) we will be at New Revival Church in Marysville, WA for an am & pm service. We look forward to being with Pastor Aaron Johnson. We love you all. Dave & Linda
