We had an enormous day yesterday...we went to Salzburg and did a tour of Mozarts birthplace and tried out some Austrian food in the town square...we saw locations of where the sound of Music was filmed and learned about the real Maria and the von trapp family, and then we drove out of Austria into Germany to go and visit the "Eagles nest" which was a cabin built for Hitler on the top of an extremely huge mountain. This was outstanding for a couple of reasons, the sheer height of the mountain and the way the Nazi party constructed the roads and the cabin, and then the fact the the head honchos and Hitler used to use this place to plan so much evil that they inflicted upon others....incredulous!
