We had another beautiful moment happen at The Alley tonight...Weve been collecting money for Ernie Lancaster since late May & have raised over $900 & are well on our way to over $1,000 but we had an emergency situation concerning a dear friend of Ernies & a friend to us all. Hes an Alley house player & has to move out of his rented room by this Sunday, needs to find a new room to rent & rent a storage place but hes short of cash. We suspended the collection for Ernie tonight & instead raised money for his friend & I know Ernie would approve. I explained the situation & there was an immediate outpouring of love that brought in $250 & an offer for a free storage place. The love was flowing tonight & if you were there you felt it. Thank you all! I called our friend, told him what had been done & he was deeply moved & appreciated everything youve done. He told me he found a place to stay for the next two weeks. He doesnt drive so we need to rent a $20 a day U-Haul truck & need the assistance of a few strong men. Well work on that later today.
