We had another bitterly cold day! The low early this morning, in Zanesville, was -4 and the wind chill as low as was -17! The high today in Zanesville was 15 degrees! Skies will increase with clouds tonight and snow will arrive between about 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. The snow could fall heavily at times. The wind will also be gusting up to 30 mph, which will cause the snow to blow around and drift. This could create whiteout conditions at times, late tonight into Saturday, which means dangerous travel conditions. Temperatures will hold steady in the mid teens and begin to rise overnight. The snow will continue on Saturday morning and the steadiest snow will end by midday. However, some snow showers will linger during the afternoon. The wind will continue to gust up to 30 mph, which will continue to blow and drift the snow. Temperatures on Saturday wont be as cold. Highs will be in the mid to upper 20s. How much snow can we expect? Details tonight at 6, 7 and 11! -Matt Albanese
