We had another very succesfull mobile medical outreach at the clinic. Word has gone round in Chibolya and the numbers keep on increasing. This week we had over 150 patients. More than half of this number came for Voluntary, Counselling and Testing. This is a very positive response as the stigma attached to the pandemic HIV/AIDS is slowly decreasing. Blood samples have been taken from 21 patients as to know their CD4 count. By Friday next week, medication on these patients will commence. There is a clear call from the residents of Chibolya, to open the clinic 6 days in a week. The need is huge but resources are not enough. Any one out there wanting to help?
