We had host family orientation last night and it made it real that Kathrine will be here really soon! She flys in to Chattanooga a month from today and we are so excited! I will try to answer a few questions we keep being asked: Yes, she speaks English (better than most people on my newsfeed, haha). She also speaks German and Danish. No, we arent being paid to host. We are taking her in as a family member and providing a home, transportation, and 3 meals a day for her for the next 10 months. No, we didnt decide to host so we would have someone to take care of the kids. (Yes, several people really asked us that...) We decided to host because we want to expose our children to other cultures, languages, and world views and to give them an experience that not many children have. It can be a great ministry opportunity. Plus, its just a really cool thing to do. She is such a sweet girl and we think she will be a great addition to our family. :)
