We had our neighbors over for a Thanksgiving dinner. They dont care for turkey and we will be having a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with Catherine and Steve and his family on Saturday so we had a day of giving thanks for Italy and its delicious food. We enjoyed lasagna, wine, and tiramisu and most importantly, lots of talking and laughing. I especially enjoyed Jules showing our neighbor and his son (a college senior electrical engineering major) my parents 76 year old Philco radio. The three of them leaned over it in fascination while they waited for the tubes to warm up and glow red before any sound came from the radio. And they did find an AM station that we could receive!
