We had our very first holiday party ever after packing bins yesterday. Our volunteers are a huge part of how we make organic food affordable to the community and every one of these people makes a huge difference to our organization. I made a small vegan feast which included a turmeric coconut curry with root veggies, basmati rice, hummus, fresh veggies, roasted spaghetti squash with a caramel sauce, hot cider with orange slices and cinnamon and a glorious German apple cake for desert. All produce was organic of course and from Globally Local. We had a few laughs and talked about how far we have come in under a year - thanks again everyone for the good times and we are looking forward to the exciting road ahead!
