We had some excitement last night! As we were getting ready for bed we heard some gun shots. (Out in the country, hearing gun shots on a Saturday night is not usually a big deal). As I was turning the lights out in the kitchen a policeman pulled in and drove through our back yard shining his flashlight. Carl went and asked if everything was alright. Apparently someone called it in. So he asked if he could park his vehicle in our yard. We said no problem. He checked the back field and after a bit he left. I was kinda freaked out when the sheriff was here. I got worried it was something worse than coyotes or good ol boys having some fun. I was very thankful that he there quickly and was thorough in his job, but it did take a while to get to sleep for sure!!!
