We had such a wonderful time at Nouvels Homecoming last night (Shawns high school)! We were so honored to be the Grand Marshall during the parade. Emma sat on the back of the car waving and blowing kisses to everyone ;) (and a special thank you to Uncle B for driving us in the parade!) we were overwhelmed by everyones love and support-- people were coming out to the car as we drove by and bringing gifts to the girls. They also did a beautiful presentation to us before the start of the game and presented us with a very generous check. The captains of the team gave the girls a signed football and #35 jersey (all the Thompson boys wore during high school). The student section started chanting we love Emma as we walked off the field and she started throwing the football around and being a little goof ball. She loved all the attention :) we are so thankful for all the love, support and prayers we have received from the community. We have been blessed beyond belief these last 6 months and we cant Thank you all enough! (If anyone has a video of the presentation, we would love to see it)
