We had such an amazing Christmas holiday with my mom. I will forever cherish these memories. To say Thank You just doesnt seem like enough for all the generosity all of our friends and family have shown us during this season of our life. My sister, Tamara, has been packing and preparing for their journey to MD Anderson. I pray for my mom and sister and their travels. We pray no matter what news we hear that we always remember not our will but Gods. My mom is the most beautiful and caring person. I aspire to be just like her. I hope to be the mom to my children that she has been to me, my sister and brother. My children and my brothers kids are beyond blessed to have her as a Nanny. She is simply amazing and I am in awe of her strength and courage. Being 5 hours away from her during this time has been the most heartbreaking experience Ive ever encountered. Often, my mom builds me up. Reminds me its okay to smile when all my heart wants to do is crawl in bed with her and hold her. I have truly learned to value the time I get to spend with her. I always remember to say I love you when we talk. I look up to my mom so much and I treasure every memory. Please keep my mom and our family in your prayers as we begin a whole new journey at MD Anderson. And pray for my sister and her strength. She and my dad are the most amazing care takers but they need strengthening as well. From our family to yours, Happy Holidays and we pray for blessings to rain down in 2015!
