We watched as the priest blessed the mans ashes and commended them to the deep. We listened as the bugler played Taps and the rifles fired their final salute. We bowed our heads as the Naval Honor Guard presented the carefully folded flag to the mans daughter. From the heart of a grateful nation, we thank you for your service. May you rest in peace.
