We had the honour and pleasure of playing the legendary el Mocambo last night as part of Canadian Music Week. Thanks to 101.9 DAWG FM and The Toronto Blues Society for sponsoring this showcase. It was great fun as it usually is when a bunch of acts who are also friends get together . . . Conor Gains Band started it off by rippin it up then Sugar Brown showed us his very cool old school style. Third was the sultrific (that means sultry and terrific all at once!) Shakura SAida - she and her great band just knock it out of the park every time!!
