We had to go to Duke today for blood checks...Things went pretty well and his numbers all came back good...yeah!!!! Diego made a little friend in the waiting room...she was also a first grader and he let her use his ipad. We got home and Diego said how nice it was out and I suggested playing outside...within no time our yard was full of kids. I think everyone misses playing outside with Diego. We stayed outside for more then 2 hours. It was so nice outside. We were out till it was dark. We had an amazing blessing today (actually 2). Got a phone call about box seats to Disney on Ice. I was so excited. She asked if we had any plans on dec 14th at 6:30. I said no we have no plans ever (dont want to plan things with Diego not knowing how he will feel)...then I realized Dec 14 there is something in our neighborhood called Luminar. It is awesome. Paperbags with candles in them all down the neighborhood street. We walked the neighborhood and look at all the lights and they have cookies and hot cocoa. We had so much fun last year so I had to say no to Disney on Ice. :( But when we were at Duke Katie (Child Life Specialist) asked if we wanted to go to the hurricanes game. And since DJ doesnt have siblings she asked if he wanted to bring a friend and then suggested the girls next door (she met them at last chemo). It is this Friday and we are so excited to go and Diego is very excited to bring his sisters. He really seems to be doing sooooo much better today and I am feeling so much better too. My sister is coming into town tomorrow. We are so excited for that.
