We hardly talked about the schism rendering concerns about sociological leanings because identity politics was just not of our world. Grew up realising that I have to be considerate with someones dearly cherished notions of what Ill find sustaining at around the age I am now - that just has not bourne out, and I have empathy with the loneliness and disillusionment with the worldview she apparently needed. But then theres the notion of the fem identity and the disabled community identity, and its all just yet another drag. This is not what I wanted growing up. Furthermore, provisions given by virtue of purely functional circumstances, I feel, should be blind to cliques asserting the conscious categories for everyone, and what emphasis about themselves apparently has merit. Am I too polite to briefly allude to what has me reaching for a puke bucket? There is this schism we never thought wed have to discuss so much at the breakfast table. Times are such now that I could have used a bit more depth of what I cant quite put my finger on amidst a bit of a hardsell that ramped up a bit more than anticipated. (Take the social democrats out of the greens, by the way, so we can concentrate on environmental matters? Yes Please! Just incidentally, a social conscious without as much dogma, just follows naturally...)
