We have 2 amazing Potcake dogs that we really need to find a new home for but they are 7 years old. We got them as pups from potcakeplace. Our older son has developed terrible dog allergies in the past few years. We had to stop allowing the dogs on the couches and isolating them to a few rooms. Our house isnt big and the allergist says the only way to alleviate the symptoms is to keep the dogs on a different floor of the house. Basically not a floor where we live on. That would mean the basement. We cant do that. My son cant even sleep in his own room anymore because the dogs are on the same floor. He now sleeps upstairs in the guest room/playroom where the dogs dont go. They still have a lot of love and fun in them but you can tell they are sad to not be able to be with us in our living areas like they were. Its a very difficult situation for us but our sons well being is of our top concern.
