Position: Graphic Designer PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Meet with clients to establish a vision for a product or design. • Select colors, images, textures and shapes to create the layout. • Select the size and arrangement of the different elements. • Use computer software to create electronic versions of designs. • Employ color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques when designing project. • Develop material for web pages. • Design logos for products and businesses. • Develop signs and environmental graphics. • Meet with art directors/supervisors to collaborate on design. • Perform research on competitors and market trends. • Submit rough drafts to client for approval. • Make changes to mock-ups. • Supervise assistants during product design. REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS: • Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software • Exceptional creativity and innovation • Excellent time management and organisational skills • Accuracy and attention to detail • An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment • Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines Android (6months - 1year experience) PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Spearheading the development of our developer and consumer Android apps • Working closely with our UX and Visual designer to create pixel-perfect groundbreaking user experiences • Working in tandem with our iOS Application Developer to maintain a parity experience across platforms • Coordinating with the back-end engineering team to map out API needs • Working with the front-end team to identify and create mobile developer tools and future functionality and seamless experiences across the entire platform • Being self-motivated, capable of managing your time well, and work efficiently without close supervision REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS: • A track record of building reliable and compiling Android apps • An eagerness to experiment with new design and control paradigms • A willingness to create and throw out prototypes in the spirit of iteration • Demonstrated ability to implement UI frameworks and UX that go beyond Android UI elements • Ability to write elegant, readable, and well-documented code and tests • Strong experience with Androids Property Animation API and familiarity with OS-specific APIs • Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, Google Maps, Universal Apps, PDF integration and in-app purchases is a big plus. • Follow good programing practices and strong coding skills. iOS: (6months - 1year experience) PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Working with a team of developers and product designers to implement innovative mobile products for our users. * Implementing custom native interfaces using the latest iOS programming techniques and building reusable iOS software components for iPhone and iPad applications * Analyzing and optimizing application code for efficiency and performance. Technical Requirements: * A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required. * Good experience of developing complex, consumer-facing applications for the iPhone and iPad using Objective-C with UIKit and the iOS SDK is required. * Hands-on experience with iOS SDK performance tools is preferred. * Strong sense of elegant and usable mobile UI, object-oriented programming, multithreaded programming, unit tests, session management, object relational mapping, object caching, XML/JSON/RESTful web services, and agile development methodologies is preferred. * A great attitude that enjoys working in a close, highly energized, team-oriented environment. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written a MUST. * Demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm. * Present ideas, expectations and information in a concise, well-organized way. * Manage time well, correctly prioritizing tasks
