We have Christina (the sheep) joining us on the farm for 6 weeks. She arrived at our farm after a 2 hour ride and transfer at the truck stop to our truck. Dad and Anthony made the trip to pick her up. She is here to hopefully get pregnant. Clarence, has proven himself as a Stud since both of our sheep (April and Bella) are expecting around Easter, so he now has to earn his keep! We are helping a young farmer who has just Christina in his flock (us wanna be farmers need to stick together). So we moved Christina into our spare pen and brought Clarence and Antonio (our 5 1/2 month old miniature donkey) to keep her company (actually we are weaning Antonio at the same time)! So with all this activity in the barn this morning, the cats decided the new water bucket was so much better than their own! Live on the farm is never quiet and the work is never done!!
