We have: God the Fater,God the Son,and God the Holy Spirit. God the Father and God the Son are in heaven. God the Holy Spirit is the One who is on the earth,and in those who will receive Him. Why is it important to have the Holy Spirit,because He is the One who speaks to us. Heres a example in Gods word As they ministered to The Lord and fasted,the Holy Spirit Said, Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.(who said to separate them,thats right the Holy Spirit) Then,having fasted and prayed,and laid hands on them,they sent them away. So,being sent out by the Holy Spirit,they went down to Seleucia,and from there they sailed to Cyprus.(Holy Spirit sent them out) Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia,they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia.(who forbid them from preaching,Holy Spirit) After they had come to Mysia,they tried to go into Bithynia,but the Spirit did not permit them. And see,now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem,not knowing the things that will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city,saying that chains and tribulations await me.(who told Paul that chains and tribulations awaited him,Holy Spirit) And on and on it goes. Holy Spirit is: Our Helper Our Guide Our Teacher He tells us of things that are ahead of us. He brings the word of God to our remeberance. He teaches us the true meaning of the word of God He guides us into all truth Why should we want Him,for all these reasons,plus one more. Jesus commanded his disciples to receive to promise of the Father,which you heard from Me. For John truly baptized with water,but you shall be baptized in the Holy Spirit not many days from now. Yes! This is for all who call Jesus LORD!!!!!! Ive been told this is just for Pentecostals. I need chapter and verse on that,that must have got left out of my bible. If your His disciple,your saved,Jesus is talking to you.
