In short her reaction to winning and why. “Oh My God, I can’t believe it, I am so happy and excited, I can share this with my son, and we can do shopping for Christmas and get Free Shipping with the Free Amazon Prime trial. Oh My God, this is not happening, and I cannot Thank you and ITEX enough or express how much this truly means to me and my family.” Maureen Rechner is a single Mom of a Son who is 21. On October 31st, their lives were turned upside down. Anthony, Maureen’s only Child was involve in a Horrific Motorcycle accident the evening of Halloween, traveling at a high speed lost control hit a curb and was thrown from his bike the length of two foot ball fields, hitting a Light Pole and literally imploding his body, his right arm was completely severed from his body and found 30 ft. away from his body, and his internal injuries were so severe both of this legs had to be amputated. Under normal circumstances, he would have been pronounced at the scene. Anthony was awake and talking when he was found. Therefore he was life flighted to Memorial Herman Trauma Center, and life support was started. After many hours of testing and several exams by top Doctors and Surgeons, his prognosis was not good, Maureen was told then, her son would not make it. And, it was even explained to her that even soldiers at war, like Afghanistan if found that injured would not be assisted or resuscitated. The only reason he was, his brain showed life. After 29 Surgeries, he ate for the very first time last night, and it was a grilled cheese sandwich. He has to top prosthetic manufactures in the World working on a new arm and two legs, so advanced the local Major Hospitals don’t even get their products because they are so advanced, and he is being considered their Miracle Poster Guy. Because he had a friend riding with him that night, he received medical care very quickly. The friend was on another bike. Anthony is one out of 10 million who has managed to survive this type of massive injuries, making him a True Miracle. Still hospitalize and now being moved into a Rehab Hospital, his outlook and future is looking better. He is smiling, talking and working hard to maintain a positive attitude, in part, thanks to his Mom. Who never gave up on him when others did. Anthony has a great job, an 18 month old son, and saw him for the very first time since the accident yesterday. He has great insurance but as we all know, it is never enough and his bills have already exceeded 10 million dollars. There is a site set up for donations at gofundme/anthonyrechner Now here is a real kicker, back on October 21st Maureen had purchase tickets to go see Oprah Winfrey and had paid the big bucks to do a Meet and Greet with her, which she did. Last Night on the Barbara Walters Special on ABC, Maureen was shown twice with Oprah, and when they had found out about what happened to her son Opray decide after her 40 Show Tour, she wanted to do a Special “One on One” show, even though she had previously stated she was done touring and doing any more shows for now. She decided this because of Maureen, and has selected Maureen and Anthony to be one of her guests. Due to Maureen’s very tight schedule, she cannot meet with us in person right now, but I am going to be FED EX’ing her Kindle to her with a card, she in turn is going to take it to the hospital and get a picture of Anthony and Herself with the Kindle and will get it to me. Once I have it, and once she can take a breather, we plan on taking her to lunch and visiting Anthony.
