We have a Winspiration Winner! What an awesome way to spend the second day of 2015: reading all of your BHAG’s (Big Hairy Audacious Goals) for 2015! Thank you for taking time to #JoinTheRusch and tell me about your dreams. It’s so inspiring for me to read how many of you are bold enough to put yourself out there and put your intentions in the public eye. Some of you have been knocked down hard and are getting back up, some of you are striving to push beyond limits and go bigger and further than you thought possible, some of you want to share the spirit of adventure with others around you. And ALL of you want to do this crazy stuff in the magical Church of the Outdoors! You won’t all succeed in reaching all of your goals. I won’t either. I can guarantee that. But we WILL all find adventure, discovery, happiness and strength along the way. It was super hard for me to pick a winner for this contest, but sometimes there can be only one! Thanks for sharing and feel free to tell me how it all goes by using #JoinTheRusch. So @CraigHobart: Congratulations on your Thanksgiving gift of a kidney and a return to health. What a celebration it’s going to be for you to get back to the sports you love with your family and friends. Our health and the ability to move freely is one of the most important things we have in this world. I cannot imagine having that taken away and now you are getting it back! So stoked for you! Reba (His original post here: @Craig Hobart #jointherusch In 2015 I am making a comeback! A little after midnight the day before Thanksgiving I got “the call”. After years of waiting and countless hours on dialysis a cadaver donor was a match. No more missing the local night rides, the weekend group ride, or sitting in the car waiting for my kids to finish their swim team work out – I can swim again. In 2015 I am returning to fitness, not only for myself, but to prove to others how well organ donation works. I am going to run with my wife, backpack with my son, and do Xterra with my daughter. Thank you to the generous family who made this possible during their darkest hours.)
