We have a critical need for clothing for men! At this time, we have NO underwear or socks to give out to homeless men who need them both badly. We need mens jeans (any condition), short sleeve shirts, walking shoes or tennis shoes, cargo shorts and other guy stuff for summer. Imagine their predicaments: on the street, no money for laundry, no immediate access to water, but they must look and be clean and neat to approach anyone -- including the labor pool -- for a job. We can provide the shower at night, but clothing is another story. We can launder clothing for a few men at a time each night, but we have 62 emergency beds and two commercial washers and driers. So, the next morning, you go get your breakfast, put on your cleanest dirty shirt and jeans from your backpack, comb your hair and head out in shoes that flop bottom and top because the shoe strings are gone and the toe has pulled away from the sole.
