We have a few Healthy Heart with EKG screenings coming up over the next few weeks that we wanted to let you know about. The screenings are FREE. Appointments are requested and can be made by calling 1-888-377-KDMC. Wednesday, July 30 on the KDMC Mobile Health Unit at the Olive Hill Senior Center, 110 Railroad St., beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 31 on the mobile unit at Ashland Town Center mall, beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6 at Kings Daughters Medical Specialties Prestonsburg, 1279 Old Abbott Mountain Road, beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12 on the mobile health unit at Central Christian Church, 1541 S, Seventh St., Ironton, beginning at 10 a.m. Screenings include total cholesterol, blood sugar, blood oxygen, blood pressure and pulse and a screening EKG. Results are reviewed by a Kings Daughters heart specialist.
