We have a friend in Florida whose husband of 38 years passed away in April, and this will be her 1st Christmas without him. This poem is for her. May God bless her & their son. THE HARDEST THING Do they think about us on the other side? The ones weve loved, the ones whove died? Do they still dream dreams, as yet we do? Oh when I die, Ill dream of you. Ill never let go of the feeling, the warmth of holding your hand. No matter how far my soul travels... or to where the distant land. Life before you is faint in my mind, for you made my life worthwhile... I could never forget your amazing eyes, or the sunshine in your smile. Your love would carry me through it all, though a thousand stars should fall. Your heart shines brighter than the brightest star, of any star of them all. Im not afraid of dying, just the thought of losing you. Saying goodbye to someone you love… is the hardest thing to do. Nothing is certain in this life we live, and sometimes the road gets rough. I have no regrets when it comes to your love. Ive always had enough. I could never stop loving you, Dear... even in the hands of death. You are my life, my love, my dream... my each and every breath.
