We have a fun filled weekend here at the park starting TODAY! Come explore the night skies with UW-Madison graduate students at 8:30 pm at the Nature Center Classroom. There will be a short presentation and then if the skies are clear telescopes will be set-up outside. Tomorrow is Prairie Days, sponsored by the Prairie Enthusiasts. During this event ourselves along with the St. Croix Valley Bird Club have brought in UW-Madison professor Dr. Stanley Temple to give a talk on the centennial passing of the last passenger pigeon. Please see schedules below for more details. Then on Sunday we will have a turtles program from 11am-1pm at the beach picnic area. Come meet our pond friends! Nature Center will be open Friday-Sunday from 11am-4pm. Stop in see if our butterfly as arrived from its chrysallis yet.
