We have a girl scout in the house and its cookie time!!! If you would like to order girl scout cookies, message me! Cookies are $4 a box. The Somoa (Carmel Delight) is celebrating 40 years this year and they still have many other old favorites, Thin Mints, Tagalongs (Peanut Butter Patties), Do-Si-Dos (Peanut Butter Sandwich Cookies), and Trefoils (Shortbread). Along with the old favorites, there is a lemon cookie and new this year is Rah-Rah-Raisins, which is an oatmeal raisin cookie. The girls all tried the new raisin cookie and they all thought it tasted good! There is also another new cookie this year that is not on the order form. There is a gluten-free cookie (Christy Taylor Krysinski) being piloted in the area called Toffee-Tastic. It will only be available at the cookie booths, which will be around after the first week of March. I may be able to get some for you if you let me know ahead of time. Each troop in the area will get a limited amount. Toffee-tastic are $5 a box. I am making this status public, so feel free to share it with anyone you know who may be interested in ordering Girl Scout cookies. The initial order is due February 9, with cookies arriving the first week of March. We can re-order after that until March 23. There is also a program this year that allows customers to order online from a specific girl. That way, you can still order through my daughter, even if you are out of town. The online program allows you to have the cookies shipped directly to you. If you are interested, let me know and I will give you the information when the site is set up. Thank you!
