We have a momma cat and 3 three-month old kittens. Actually, they arent technically ours, but our neighbor has them. They spend all of their time outside and most of their time on our porch. The other day, I saw on Facebook that the Veterinary Health Center on Center just north of Gratiot were giving away cat houses for feral cats. I went and got one and gave them a donation. They are built by the people at the Center. They are two slightly different size storage containers. They put one inside the other with Styrofoam in between. Then they put a 6 diameter PVC pipe through a side for an entrance and put straw inside. Hopefully this will keep them from freezing solid this winter.
