We have a neighborhood ice cream man named Carl who drives around in his custom truck selling ice cream and candy. Ive only ever seen his wife (I think) delivering it for him but the other day, I finally saw him. I made a comment on his job, about how fun it must be or something, and while shuffling through the freezer he flashes a big grin and goes, Yeah, I love it. It doesnt pay much, but I dont do it for the money, I love doing this. Im going to try to do this for as long as I can. I love it. All I could really do was smile back. I get it. I really do. Some days are stressful but I want to be a bear builder for as long as I can until its time to really move on. And even then, I would love to still be able to work there on weekends or even once/a couple times a month. Some people, they just get it. Passion is the only reason you need to do something. The money will come, my uncle once said. It might not be a lot, it might go as fast as it arrives, but that gives you time to do things that you just love to do outside of money and paying for stuff. Love what you do, do what you love, and the money will come.
