We have a number of people who ask to be admitted to United Progressives whose Facebook page cannot be accessed. I didnt know you could have such a privacy setting. Why be on Facebook, if thats the case? As an admin, I look at every single persons page, and I look at a number of things -- length of time on Facebook, interest in issues, party or non-party interest, potential troll characteristics, and how sophisticated a person is in terms of understanding the problems we face. If I cannot see these things, then dont ask to join. Im certain that I make misjudgments about people occasionally, but thats the breaks. I am looking for people who are in general agreement with our policies and advocacy.
